It’s a demanding job but it shouldn’t preclude anyone with a managed medical condition. For example Theresa May our new PM has type 1 diabetes. I’m sure she is more than capable of keeping herself well. Mental health is not always so easy to manage especially when there is still so much stigma attached to it that people either ignore it or deny its existence. It’s a brave person that stands up and announces they have a mental health condition.
