Today I was a very important support for two young people in crisis – a reason, I believe, why I’m still on this earth. Tomorrow, when it quiets down, I will once again reflect on the fact that I’m coming upon my 3 year anniversary with that demon cancer and will hope and pray that I continue onto year 4.

I find it daunting that we lose such vital, reflective, energetic people, and most often women, to a disease that seems to target so randomly. Vitality lost, potential gone and relationships extinguished because of our times.

Keep bringing us your stories and heartfelt thoughts.
