You’ve articulated beautifully my own confusion about my ambivalence about Hillary–is there anything to the criticism, or has it just become the narrative we all buy into after so much mud slinging? I DO know that I wish she weren’t so hawkish. But the Republicans are even worse. Thanks for writing, Heidi.

I can’t figure out if my ambivalence toward Hilary is because of anything she has done or have I been influenced by all the mud slinging from the right? After decades of hearing the attacks it starts to just exist in the country’s ethos. Is any of it valid or has it just been target practice on a strong intelligent powerful woman?

I hate the idea of voting for someone who is just good enough (lack of enthusiasm in the electorate should worry the dems), but she had my vote. And I want to be excited by her. Just can’t stand her responses to her critics.
